Giving a human touch to the hi-tech world of Google Chrome.
To launch the UK campaign for Google Chrome, we took inspiration from Google itself – making a complex thing very simple, usable and human. At the time, many people don't know what a browser even did, so we created an unique and compelling story for each product feature that made sense to even the most un-tech-like people. We used handmade contraptions to create the hi-tech Chrome experience out of lo-fi materials, filming everything in-camera. This approach helped make somewhat obtuse technology feel warm, honest and accessible. The integrated campaign included annotated YouTube videos, print, OOH and banners.
