As Trump divided the country, we united those in the fight for immigrant rights.
For a holiday activation, we created “Carols Beyond Borders,” a bilingual Christmas songbook that invited protestors to sing for change outside the offices and homes of anti-immigration lawmakers.
The carols in the songbook were the classic Christmas Carols we all know and love, but we satirically injected the original songs with humorous lyrics highlighting the need to embrace immigrants and DREAMers during the most humane time of the year.

We also launched a site where protesters could download the songbook for Christmas Protest Caroling activations. The songbook listed out locations where the protestors should converge and sing, like the offices and doorsteps of anti-immigrant congressional leaders.
Together we fought hate with Christmas spirit. We changed hearts and minds with song. And we reminded people what Christmas is about: uniting humanity, not dividing it.
